After the genuine must-haves 'Just For Your Hand Vol. 1 & 2', Ugly Mac Beer, formerly known as DJ Diess, re-enlists and signs a third volume of his now classic collection of breakbeats. And for this new edition, the parisian sound-digger and turntablist has decided to spotlight Great Britain, through dozens of samples and sounds to scratch taken from underground British culture.
On the menu, a detonating concentrate of sounds and beats made in UK served in 2 sides : the Lunch Side and the Dinner Side. The first side offers a comprehensive set of scratch tools to improve your routines, while sweeping away major musical trends that have shaped the famous UK touch : a classic reggae acapella, another one rap UK for skip proof, a meaningful selection of hip hop, jungle and drum n' basss loops, or two electro fats beats with accents of UK Bass Music.
The second side pays tribute to the British cinema with its wave of cult and crazy series and movies quotes (Misfits, This Is England, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Orange Clockwork, Shaun Of The Dead, Attack The Block…), its innumerable 'fuck', its nods to London folklore and its bass and drums skip proof impregnated with punk energy as a dessert.
An essential tool for both trained DJs and scratch apprentices, stamped with the famous 'Just One Mark Technology', process ideally suited for improvised scratch sessions or training. It should also be noted for collectors and vinyls lovers that only the first 500 copies will be pressed into color... God Save the Vinyl!
